Help us raise Bucks for New Trucks!
Thanks to TCC’s trucking program, Elwin Hines not only has a great career – he has a national award!
Elwin, a TCC graduate, was named Driver of the Year in 2017 by Lytx, a global leader in video telematics committed to improving safety and efficiency behind the wheel. He has driven more than a million miles while maintaining a spotless safety record!
Our trucking grads complete an intense eight weeks of classroom instruction and practical training, providing them with the education they need for a well-paying career. But: Our 11 trucks have an average fleet age of 17 years, which exceeds their useful lifespans. To continue our training excellence, we need to begin replacing our aging fleet.
Help us put more TCC students in the driver’s seat of new trucks! Donate today to the Bucks for Trucks campaign. Your dollars will support an industry vital to Hampton Roads’ maritime economy — and put more Elwins on the road.
Our alumni goal is to buy at least one new truck!
